DIY Daytripper Folding Chair Plan
Simple seating that goes wherever the day takes you
The daytripper folding chair plan helps you build a compact, portable nesting chair. With two interlocking pieces it can be easily assembled, disassembled and stored nested with other chairs when not in use. The design makes this a flexible outdoor chair plan for seating at home or on the go.
In fact, with the daytripper, you have a patio chair plan, a camping chair plan, an “anything you want to do outdoors” chair plan, all rolled into one. It also makes it easy to build multiple chairs, so you have extra seating whenever you need it.
Before you get started, please read our info on safety, fasteners and building tips, and please consult our Terms of Use.
