DIY Cornhole Boards Plan
How to build and customize cornhole boards
With these DIY cornhole board plans, you can build a regulation set in the morning and host your first game that same afternoon.
Cornhole boards are one of the simplest and most rewarding DIY projects for outdoor entertaining. They’re durable, affordable to build and perfect for backyard parties. Plus, when you build your own boards, you can customize them with your favorite colors, logos or designs.
Using YellaWood® brand boards and plywood, you’ll create a sturdy set of cornhole boards that meet American Cornhole Organization (ACO) regulations. Each finished board measures 24″ x 48″ and includes built-in handle cutouts, so you can easily carry them wherever the next game happens. Plus, read further to see how you can adapt the boards with fun upgrades including cupholders and designs.
